The European Forest Institute’s Mediterranean Facility (EFIMED) published the latest issue of its newsletter at the end of October. The newsletter features updates from the field of forestry, including information on new projects, research outcomes, policy recommendations, and open calls.

Recent developments from ForestPaths were also highlighted. The issue included a feature on the ForestPaths annual general meeting, which took place in Brașov, Romania, from 7 to 10 October 2025. The three-day event brought together project partners to share updates and plan future activities, including the third Policy Lab and the launch of the CANOPY platform.

The newsletter also announced that ForestPaths recently celebrated its third anniversary. Over the past three years, the project has supported Europe’s climate and biodiversity goals by developing policy pathways for forests that promote climate action, and biodiversity conservation.
