Mohamed Byari presents the CRAFTY model

In our new video, ForestPaths partner Mohamed Byari (KIT-Campus Alpin) introduces one of the important modelling tools used within the project: the CRAFTY model.

CRAFTY is a model focusing on land use change and simulating how land managers' decisions shape the provision of ecosystem services such as timber, carbon sequestration and biodiversity. Within ForestPaths, it is being applied and developed further to explore how European forests and the forest-based sector can best contribute to climate change mitigation while conserving biodiversity and sustaining ecosystem services.
